     Sir John Norman Ide Leslie, 4th Bt. was born on 6 December 1916.2 He was the son of Sir John Randolph Shane Leslie, 3rd Bt. and Majorie Ide.1 He died on 18 April 2016 at age 99.3
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1938 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.2 He was awarded the Knight Commander, Order of St. Gregory the Great.2 He was awarded the Knight of Honour and Devotion, Sovereign Military Order of Malta.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Leslie, of Glaslough, co. Monaghan [U.K., 1876] on 13 August 1971.4

     Desmond Arthur Peter Leslie was born on 29 June 1921.2 He was the son of Sir John Randolph Shane Leslie, 3rd Bt. and Majorie Ide.1 He married, firstly, Agnes Elizabeth Bernauer, daughter of Rudolf Bernauer, on 18 August 1945.2 He and Agnes Elizabeth Bernauer were divorced in 1969 at Mexico.2 He married, secondly, Jennifer Helen Strong, daughter of Lt.-Col. Ian Strong and Joan (?), in 1970.3 He died on 24 February 2001 at age 79 at Antibes, France.2,3
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He gained the rank of Flight Sergeant (Pilot) in the Royal Air Force.2 He was co-founder of the Flying Saucer Review.2 He wrote the book The Flying Saucers Have Landed, published 1953.2 He wrote the book The Amazing Mr Lutterworth.2 He wrote the book Hold Back the Night.2 He wrote the book Angels Weep.2 He wrote the book Careless Lives.2 He wrote the book Pardon My Return.2

     Agnes Elizabeth Bernauer was the daughter of Rudolf Bernauer.1 She married Desmond Arthur Peter Leslie, son of Sir John Randolph Shane Leslie, 3rd Bt. and Majorie Ide, on 18 August 1945.1 She and Desmond Arthur Peter Leslie were divorced in 1969 at Mexico.1 She died in February 1999.2
     Her married name became Leslie.
