     Hon. Henry George Edwardes was born on 15 December 1844.1 He was the son of Captain William Edwardes, 3rd Baron Kensington and Laura Jane Ellison.1 He married Cecilia Douglas Bayley, daughter of Charles John Bayley, on 4 July 1878.1 He died on 30 December 1896 at age 52.1
     He was Secretary of the Legation in 1885 at Buenos Aires, Argentina.1 He was Secretary of the Legation in 1887 at Washington, D.C., U.S.A.1 He was Secretary of the Embassy in 1892 at Rome, Italy.1
