     John Moray, 6th of Abercairny was the son of George Moray.2 A contract for the marriage of John Moray, 6th of Abercairny and Nicholas Graham was signed on 11 February 1539/40.1 He died on 10 September 1547 at Pinkie, Midlothian, Scotland, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Battle of Pinkie on 10 September 1547.1

     He was created 1st Baronet Graham, of Braco, Muthill, co. Perth [Nova Scotia] on 28 September 1625, with special remainder to his heirs male whatsoever.1
