     From 16 March 1889, her married name became Napier.

     Maj.-Gen. Charles Scott Napier was born on 3 February 1899.¹ He was the son of Archibald Scott Napier and Katherine Edith Liveing.² He married Ida Kathleen Douétil, daughter of Victor Napoleon Douétil, on 8 August 1927.¹ He died on 16 June 1946 at age 47.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He was Chief of Movements and Transportation Branch 6–4 Divivision, Supreme HQ, Allied Expeditionary Force between 1943 and 1945.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was awarded the Commander, U.S. Legion of Merit.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Ida Kathleen Douétil was the daughter of Victor Napoleon Douétil.² She married Maj.-Gen. Charles Scott Napier, son of Archibald Scott Napier and Katherine Edith Liveing, on 8 August 1927.¹ She died in 1979.¹
     From 8 August 1927, her married name became Napier.

     Reverend Michael Scott Napier was born on 15 February 1929.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Charles Scott Napier and Ida Kathleen Douétil.² He died on 22 August 1996 at age 67.¹

     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He was Vice-Consul to Khoramshahr in 1939.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Indian Army and Indian Political Service.¹ He was Secretary to Resident Eastern States Calcutta in 1946.¹
