     Lt.-Col. Sir John Frederick Dame Johnston was born on 24 August 1922.2 He was the son of Frederick Horace Johnston.1 He married Hon. Elizabeth Rosemary Hardinge, daughter of Alexander Henry Louis Hardinge, 2nd Baron Hardinge of Penhurst and Helen Mary Gascoyne-Cecil, on 4 November 1949.1 He died on 10 September 2006 at age 84.2
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1945.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) in 1987.1 He lived in 2003 at Stone Hill, Newport, Pembrokeshire, WalesG.1 He lived in 2003 at Studio Cottage, The Great Park, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1

     Pamela Lomax was the daughter of John Chadwick Lomax.1 She married Major Sir Robert Alexander Abercromby of Birkenbog, 9th Bt., son of Sir Robert John Abercromby of Birkenbog, 7th Bt. and Florence Anita Eyre Coote, on 31 October 1929.1 She died on 5 October 1944, as a result of an accident.1
     Her married name became Abercromby.

     From 5 March 1940, her married name became Lawrence.1 Her married name became Abercromby.

     Jane Wheler was baptised on 23 June 1754 at Coventry, Warwickshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Francis Wheler and Jane Smith.1,2 She married Henry Hood, 2nd Viscount Hood of Whitley, son of Admiral Samuel Hood, 1st Viscount Hood of Whitley and Susannah Linzee, Baroness Hood of Catherington, on 10 September 1774.3 She died on 6 December 1847 at age 93.3
     Her married name became Hood. After her marriage, Jane Wheler was styled as Viscountess Hood of Whitley on 27 January 1816.
