     Caleb Charles Whitefoord was born in 1734 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG. He was the son of Colonel Charles Whitefoord and Ellen (?)1 He married Mary Sidday on 21 January 1800 at Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 4 February 1810 at England.1
     He was educated at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 In 1782 Secretary of the Peace Commission to America.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1784.1 Mysterious Figure in Brumidi's Treaty of Paris Sketch. Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1

     Colonel Charles Whitefoord was baptised on 9 May 1703.1 He was the son of Sir Adam Whitefoord of Blairquhan, 1st Bt. and Hon. Margaret Dalrymple Cathcart.1 He married Ellen (?) circa 1723. He died on 2 January 1753 at age 49 at County Galway, IrelandG.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in 1738 in the Royal Irish, at Minorca.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 5th Foot.1 He fought in the Spanish-American War in 1741, at Carthegena.1 In 1745 1745 Rebellion.1

Hon. Margaret Dalrymple Cathcart

     Hon. Margaret Dalrymple Cathcart was the daughter of Alan Cathcart, 7th Lord Cathcart and Elizabeth Dalrymple.1 She married Sir Adam Whitefoord of Blairquhan, 1st Bt., son of James Whitefoord of Dunduff and Isabel Blair, on 26 October 1693 at Kirkmichael, Ayrshire, ScotlandG.1 She died in 1742.1
     From 26 October 1693, her married name became Whitefoord.

Margaret Dalrymple Cathcart.1 She married John Dalrymple, son of Hon. Sir Hew Dalrymple of North Berwick, 1st Bt. and Marion Hamilton.1 She died in 1743.
     Her married name became Dalrymple.1
