Ernest William Maitland Molyneux Brabazon was born on 22 March 1884.¹ He was the son of Reginald Brabazon, 12th Earl of Meath and Lady Mary Jane Maitland.¹ He married Dorothy Mary Ricardo, daughter of Colonel Horace Ricardo, on 29 October 1912.¹ He died on 17 June 1915 at age 31 at France^G, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches.¹

     Dorothy Mary Ricardo was the daughter of Colonel Horace Ricardo.¹ She married Hon. Ernest William Maitland Molyneux Brabazon, son of Reginald Brabazon, 12th Earl of Meath and Lady Mary Jane Maitland, on 29 October 1912.¹ She died on 9 January 1970.¹
     From 29 October 1912, her married name became Brabazon.¹
