     Helenora Shaw-Stewart was born on 16 July 1858.1 She was the daughter of John Archibald Shaw-Stewart and Helenora Margaret Angela Alexander.1 She married Sir Francis Gore-Browne, son of Colonel Sir Thomas Gore-Browne, on 20 April 1882.1 She died on 18 December 1946 at age 88.1
     From 20 April 1882, her married name became Gore-Browne.

     Colonel Sir Thomas Gore-Browne was born on 3 July 1807.3 He was the son of Colonel Robert Browne and Sarah Dorothea Steward.3 He married Harriet Campbell, daughter of James Campbell.3 He died on 17 April 1887 at age 79 at London, England.3
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He held the office of Governor of St. Helena between 1851 and 1855.3 He held the office of Governor of New Zealand between 1855 and 1861.3 He held the office of Governor of Tasmania between 1862 and 1868.3 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1869.1

     Sir Francis Gore-Browne was the son of Colonel Sir Thomas Gore-Browne.1 He married Helenora Shaw-Stewart, daughter of John Archibald Shaw-Stewart and Helenora Margaret Angela Alexander, on 20 April 1882.1 He died on 2 September 1922.
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.)1

     Robert Farquhar Shaw-Stewart was born on 3 March 1836.1 He was the son of Sir Michael Shaw-Stewart of Greenhall and Blackhall, 6th Bt. and Eliza Mary Farquhar.1 He married Isabella Jane Warner, daughter of Charles William Warner and Isabella Ann Carmichael, on 10 February 1859.1 He died on 29 October 1911 at age 75.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the Scots Fusiliers Guards.1

     Isabella Jane Warner was the daughter of Charles William Warner and Isabella Ann Carmichael.1 She married Robert Farquhar Shaw-Stewart, son of Sir Michael Shaw-Stewart of Greenhall and Blackhall, 6th Bt. and Eliza Mary Farquhar, on 10 February 1859.1 She died on 21 September 1916.1
     From 10 February 1859, her married name became Shaw-Stewart.
