     Margaret Alison Pickard was the daughter of John Gimson Pickard.1 She married Charles Archibald Chubb, 2nd Baron Hayter, son of George Hayter Chubb, 1st Baron Hayter and Sarah Vanner Early, on 23 March 1949.1 She died in 1986.1
     Margaret Alison Pickard usually went by her middle name of Alison.1 After her marriage, Margaret Alison Pickard was styled as Baroness Hayter on 23 March 1949. From 23 March 1949, her married name became Chubb.1
