Roland Dening, son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Lewis Dening and Beatrice Catherine Scott, on 4 January 1917 at St. Peter and Paul, Wadhurst, Sussex, EnglandG.1 She died on 18 November 1992 at age 95 at St. Helena, Cullonpton, Devon, EnglandG.1
     From 4 January 1917, her married name became Dening.1 She was awarded the Kaisar-i-Hind Gold Medal in 1942.1 She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.St.J.) on 1 November 1963.1
