     Beatrice Madeline Erskine Cole was born in 1863.1 She was the daughter of Reverend Edward Maule Cole and Lady Eliza Philadelphia Erskine Goodeve.2 She married Henry Tanner Ferguson in 1884.1 She died on 20 December 1936.1
     From 1884, her married name became Ferguson.

     Donald Harry Ferguson was born on 9 February 1890.1,2 He was the son of Henry Tanner Ferguson and Beatrice Madeline Erskine Cole.3 He married, firstly, Helen Emily Woods in 1920.1 He and Helen Emily Woods were divorced in 1927.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Cobb, daughter of George Arthur Cobb and Julia Mary Augusta Williams, on 1 December 1930.1
     He fought in the First World War, with the Indian Army Cavalry and Machine Gun Corps.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was awarded the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.R.D.)1 He was with the Control Commission Germany in 1945.1

     George Hamilton Ferguson was born on 18 March 1896.1,2 He was the son of Henry Tanner Ferguson and Beatrice Madeline Erskine Cole.3 He married Dorothy Mary Kate Susie Emily Vaughan Gower, daughter of Sir Robert Vaughan Gower, on 8 October 1931.1 He and Dorothy Mary Kate Susie Emily Vaughan Gower were divorced in 1948.1 He died in 1970 at Newton Abbot, Devon, England.1,2
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He was Deputy Inspector-General, Ceylon Police in 1939.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Intelligence Corps.1 He was Assistant Inspector-General, Overseas Special Police Corps, Control Commission Germany between 1945 and 1950.1 He was awarded the King's Police Medal (K.P.M.)1 He was Deputy Chief of the British Police Mission to Greece between 1950 and 1951.1
