     George Stuart Sneyd was born in December 1883.1 He was the son of George Edward Sneyd and Elizabeth Charlotte Stuart.1 He married Elaine Augusta Ram, daughter of Abel John Ram and Hon. Mary Grace O'Brien, in February 1922. He died on 9 December 1959 at Kenya.1
     He lived at The Watch House, Downderry, Cornwall, England.2
