     Elizabeth Lilian Harvey was the daughter of Charles Harvey.² She married James Hamilton Moncreiff, son of Hon. Francis Jeffrey Moncreiff and Frances Ramsay Lawson, in 1905.¹ She died in 1950.¹

     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.¹ He graduated from St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1927 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1931 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Rector in 1947 at St. Salvator's, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He held the office of Canon of St. Mary's Cathedral, Edinburgh between 1950 and 1952.¹ He held the office of Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway in 1952.¹ He held the office of Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church in 1962.¹

     Frederick Henry Wellwood Moncreiff was born on 13 February 1909.¹ He is the son of James Hamilton Moncreiff and Elizabeth Lilian Harvey.² He married Gwendolen Alma Gifford, daughter of Patrick Gifford, on 11 December 1939.¹
