     Sir Hugh Francis Molony, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 September 1900.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Francis Molony, 1st Bt. and Pauline Rispin.2 He married Alexandra Campbell Todd, daughter of John Alexander Todd, on 13 June 1936.1 He died in 1976.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1921 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1922 with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1925 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was a Master in 1927 at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He was Engineering Inspector, Ministry of Health in 1938.1 He was Engineering Inspector, Housing and Local Government between 1938 and 1954.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Molony [U.K., 1925] on 3 September 1949.1 He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)1 He was a consulting engineer in 1954.1 He was registered as a MICEI, MConsEI.1

     Sir Joseph Thomas Molony was born on 8 December 1907.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Francis Molony, 1st Bt. and Pauline Rispin.2 He married Carmen Mary Dent, daughter of Frankland Dent, on 15 August 1936.1 He died on 28 May 1978 at age 70.1
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1929 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1930 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1930 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1933 with a Master of Laws (LL.M.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1933 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He held the office of Recorder of Devizes between 1951 and 1954.1 He held the office of Recorder of Exeter between 1954 and 1958.1 He was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1955.1 He was Commissioner of Assize for Midland and South Eastern Circuits in 1958.1 He was Commissioner of Assize for North-East Circuit in 1960.1 He held the office of Recorder of Southampton between 1960 and 1964.1 He was Attorney-General for the Duchy of Cornwall between 1960 and 1969.1 He held the office of Bencher of Inner Temple in 1961.1 He was chairman of the General Council of the Bar between 1963 and 1966.1 He was Leader of the Western Circuit between 1964 and 1978.1 He held the office of Recorder of Bristol between 1964 and 1978.1 He was appointed Knight in 1967.1 He was Commissioner of Assize for Western Circuit in 1968.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1970.1

     Carmen Mary Dent was born circa 1910.2 She was the daughter of Frankland Dent.3 She married Sir Joseph Thomas Molony, son of Sir Thomas Francis Molony, 1st Bt. and Pauline Rispin, on 15 August 1936.1 She married Reginald A. Slay in 1989.2 She died on 25 November 2003 at Bristol, England.2
     From 15 August 1936, her married name became Molony. From 1989, her married name became Slay.2
