     Sir Hender Molesworth, 1st Bt. was born after 1635.1 He was the son of Hender Molesworth and Mary Spark.1 He married, firstly, Grace Mangyre, daughter of Captain George Mangyre.1 He married, secondly, Mary Temple, daughter of Thomas Temple, on 12 February 1688/89.1 He died circa 9 August 1689.1 He was buried on 12 August 1689.1
     He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of Jamica in 1684.1 He held the office of President of the Council [Jamaica].1 He lived at St. Katherine's, Jamaica.1 He was created 1st Baronet Molesworth, of Pencarrow, Cornwall [England] on 19 July 1689, with a special remainder to his older brother, John.1

     Her married name became Lynch.1 From 12 February 1688/89, her married name became Molesworth.1

     Mary Middleton is the daughter of Thomas Middleton and Hon. Mary Onslow.1 She married John Molesworth, 2nd Viscount Molesworth of Swords, son of Robert Molesworth, 1st Viscount Molesworth of Swords and Hon. Laetitia Coote, in September 1718.1
     From September 1718, her married name became Molesworth. After her marriage, Mary Middleton was styled as Viscountess Molesworth of Swords on 22 May 1725.
