     Lt.-Col. Everard Stepney Milman was born on 2 November 1832.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Francis Miles Milman and Maria Margaretta Morgan.2 He married, firstly, Frances Elizabeth Clarke, daughter of Thomas Clarke, on 25 May 1865 at Marylebone, London, EnglandG.1,3 He married, secondly, Grace Henrietta Hamilton Bell, daughter of William Bell and Elizabeth Kinnear, on 8 September 1874.1 He died on 13 February 1912 at age 79.1
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geoographial Society (F.R.G.S.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was Governor of Holloway and Newgate Prisons.1

     Frances Elizabeth Clarke was the daughter of Thomas Clarke.2 She married Lt.-Col. Everard Stepney Milman, son of Lt.-Gen. Francis Miles Milman and Maria Margaretta Morgan, on 25 May 1865 at Marylebone, London, EnglandG.1,3 She died on 10 July 1870.1
     From 25 May 1865, her married name became Milman.

     Francis Robert Everard Milman was born on 4 April 1869.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Everard Stepney Milman and Frances Elizabeth Clarke.2 He died on 9 May 1891 at age 22.1

Ethel Frances Milman1

     Ethel Frances Milman was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Everard Stepney Milman and Frances Elizabeth Clarke.2 She married Colonel Charles Hay on 29 July 1899.1 She died on 11 October 1940, killed by enemy action.1
     From 29 July 1899, her married name became Hay.

     Colonel Charles Hay married Ethel Frances Milman, daughter of Lt.-Col. Everard Stepney Milman and Frances Elizabeth Clarke, on 29 July 1899.1 He died on 10 February 1912.1
     He was Warden at Christ's Hospital, London, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Bombay Staff Corps.1 He lived at Robin's Croft, Chilham, Canterbury, Kent, England.1
