     John Campbell, 3rd of Kinloch is the son of John Campbell, 1st of Kinloch and Janet Dow.1 He married Annabella Campbell, daughter of Patrick 'Para Dubh Beag' Campbell, 1st of Barcaldine and Annabel Campbell, in June 1648.1

     From 8 April 1782, her married name became Macdougall.

     Alexander Macdougall was born on 22 June 1785.1 He was the son of Patrick MacDougall, 24th of Dunollie and of Lorn and Louisa Maxwell Campbell.2 He was also reported to have been born on 24 June 1785 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.3 He died on 10 January 1810 at age 24 at Ciudad Rodrigo, Spain, killed in action, without issue.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Regiment.1 He fought in the Peninsular Wars.1

     Vice-Admiral Sir John Macdougall, 25th of Dunollie and of Lorn was born on 26 May 1789 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.2 He was the son of Patrick MacDougall, 24th of Dunollie and of Lorn and Louisa Maxwell Campbell.3 He was baptised on 12 June 1789.1 He married Elizabeth Sophia Timmins, daughter of Captain Charles S. Timmins, on 22 August 1826.1 He died on 12 July 1865 at age 76.1
     In 1835 he extended Dunollie inthe Scots variant of late Regency style.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1
