     Eachan 'Ruadh nan Cath' Maclean, 3rd of Duart was the son of Lachlan 'Lubanach' Maclean, 2nd of Duart and Elizabeth Macdonald.2 He married Mary Macdonald, daughter of Allan Macdonald, 4th of Clanranald and Moidart and Florence Macdonald.3 He died in 1411, killed in action.
     Eachan 'Ruadh nan Cath' Maclean, 3rd of Duart also went by the nick-name of Eachan 'Ruadh nan Cath' (or in English, ‘Red (with blood) from Battles.1') He fought in the Battle of Harlaw in 1411.1

     Lachlan 'Bronnach' Maclean, 4th of Duart was the son of Eachan 'Ruadh nan Cath' Maclean, 3rd of Duart.2 He married Janet Stewart, daughter of Alexander Stewart, 12th Earl of Mar.1 He married Finevola MacLeod, daughter of Ian 'Borb' MacLeod, 6th of MacLeod and unknown Douglas.2 He died circa 1472.1
     Lachlan 'Bronnach' Maclean, 4th of Duart also went by the nick-name of Lachlan 'Bronnach' (or in English, ‘Big-bellied.1')

     Joseph Lancaster was born circa 1811.1 He married, firstly, Louisa Elton, daughter of Captain Henry Elton and Mary Ford, in 1855 at Clifton, Bristol, England.1 He married, secondly, Eleanor Palmer in 1859 at Ross, Herefordshire, England.1
     He graduated from St. Andrew's University, St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)1

     Hector 'Odhar' Maclean, 6th of Duart was the son of Lachlan 'Og' Maclean, 5th of Duart and Lady Catherine Campbell.2 He married unknown daughter Mackintosh, daughter of unknown Mackintosh, Chief of Clan Chattan.1 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.1

     Lachlan 'Cattanach' Maclean, 7th of Duart was the son of Hector 'Odhar' Maclean, 6th of Duart and unknown daughter Mackintosh.2 He married, secondly, Lady Catherine Campbell, daughter of Archibald Campbell, 2nd Earl of Argyll and Lady Elizabeth Stuart.3 He married, firstly, Marion Maclean, daughter of unknown Maclean of Treshnish.1 He was murdered in 1523 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, by Sir John Campbell, 1st of Cawdor.1
