     Margaret Macfarlane is the daughter of Malcolm Macfarlane of Gartartan.2 She married Duncan MacGregor, son of Evan MacGregor, in 1603.1

Malcolm MacGregor1

     Malcolm MacGregor is the son of Duncan MacGregor and Margaret Macfarlane.2 He married Mary Campbell, daughter of unknown Campbell of Glenlyon.1
     He lived at Stuckinroy on the eastern shore of Loch Lomond and western shoulder of Ben Lomond.1 He was Tutor of MacGregor during the minority of the 14th Chief in 1649.1 In 1651 as a Royalist, he held the passes at the Heads of Forth for King Charles II.1 In 1653 during Glencairn's royalist rising, the clans involved assembled at ‘MacGregor's Hall' in the isle of Loch Rannoch and he led 200 Gregarach at the Battle of Aberfoyle.1 In 1655 he made peace between some Gregarach and the Laird of Buchanan.2

Gregor MacGregor, 15th Chief of Clan Gregor1

     Gregor MacGregor, 15th Chief of Clan Gregor was the son of Malcolm MacGregor and Mary Campbell.2 He died on 9 February 1693, unmarried.1
     He settled at Gregoriestoun Colquohoun of Luss's country.1 He held the position of 15th Chief of the Clan Gregor from.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1689 in the King James II's army, but seems to have entrusted the command of the clan in the field to his Lieutenant-Colonel, Donald MacGregor of Glengyle.1

     Colonel Evan MacGregor is the son of Duncan MacGregor and Margaret Macfarlane.2 He married Mary Napier, daughter of William Napier of Ardinmoir.1
     He was Captain of an armed Highland Watch for protecting the cattle of the Lennox.1 He lived at Kilmanan, Scotland.1 In 1659 he had a charter for Kilmanan from Montrose.1
