     John Lewthwaite was born in 1730.1 He was the son of William Lewthwaite and Agnes Towers.2 He married Elizabeth (?)1 He died on 21 June 1781 at Dominica, without issue.1

     William Lewthwaite was baptised on 1 March 1740.1 He was the son of William Lewthwaite and Agnes Towers.2 He married Mary Nicholson, daughter of Joseph Nicholson, in February 1765.1 He died on 30 October 1809 at age 69.1
     He was educated at Hawkshead Grammar School, Hawkshead, Lancashire, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cumberland.1 He lived at Broadgate, Thwaites, Cumberland, England.1 He lived at Whitehaven, Cumberland, England.1
