     Major Thomas Ellis Bridgeman Lees was born in 1818.1 He was the son of Rev. Sir Harcourt Lees, 2nd Bt. and Sophia Lyster.2 He married Janet Edmestone Balfour, daughter of Captain William Balfour and Mary Margaret Baikie, on 10 March 1857.1 He died on 19 September 1865, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Indian Army.1

     Captain William Balfour is the son of Colonel Thomas Balfour and Frances Ligonier.2 He married, secondly, Mary Margaret Baikie in January 1823.2

     Janet Edmestone Balfour was born on 22 May 1833.2 She was the daughter of Captain William Balfour and Mary Margaret Baikie.3,2 She married, firstly, Captain Edward Stanley in 1851 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1,4 She married, secondly, Major Thomas Ellis Bridgeman Lees, son of Rev. Sir Harcourt Lees, 2nd Bt. and Sophia Lyster, on 10 March 1857.1
     From 1851, her married name became Stanley.1 From 10 March 1857, her married name became Lees.

     Maj.-Gen. William Nassau Lees was born in 1826.1 He was the son of Rev. Sir Harcourt Lees, 2nd Bt. and Sophia Lyster.2 He died on 9 March 1889, unmarried.1
     He was Persian Interpreter to Indian Government.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.)1 He gained the rank of Major-Genera in the Indian Army.1

Mary Lees1

     Edward Richard Sullivan was born on 8 June 1791.2 He is the son of Sir Richard Joseph Sullivan, 1st Bt. and Mary Lodge.2 He married Eliza Maria Caldwell, daughter of General Sir James Lillyman Caldwell, in 1815.2 He died on 6 October 1824 at age 33.2
     He was with the Madras Civil Service.2

     Maria Charlotte Sullivan was the daughter of Edward Richard Sullivan and Eliza Maria Caldwell.2 She married Sir John Lees, 3rd Bt., son of Rev. Sir Harcourt Lees, 2nd Bt. and Sophia Lyster, on 29 May 1839.2 She died on 3 January 1881.2
     From 29 May 1839, her married name became Lees.

Sir Harcourt James Lees, 4th Bt.1

     Sir Harcourt James Lees, 4th Bt. was born on 24 April 1840.1 He was the son of Sir John Lees, 3rd Bt. and Maria Charlotte Sullivan.2 He married, firstly, Charlotte Anne McTaggart, daughter of William McTaggart, on 8 November 1860.1 He and Charlotte Anne McTaggart were divorced in 1872.1 He married, secondly, Harriet Ellen Constance Howard, daughter of Henry Morgan Howard, on 9 December 1872.1 He married, thirdly, Louise Hayes on 20 June 1899.1 He and Harriet Ellen Constance Howard were divorced in 1887.1 He died on 23 March 1917 at age 76.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 60th Rifles.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Lees, of Black Rock, co. Dublin [U.K., 1804] on 19 June 1892.1
