     Edith Jane Lacon was born circa 1857 at Allyghur, India.2 She was the daughter of Graham Lacon and Harriet Love.3 She married Reverend Herbert Sydenham Clarke, son of Thomas Sydenham Clarke and Julia Hilton, in 1886.1 She died on 15 October 1896 at Colton, Norfolk, England.1,2
     From 1886, her married name became Clarke.

     Reverend Herbert Sydenham Clarke was born circa 1858 at Kingsdown, Kent, England.2 He was the son of Thomas Sydenham Clarke and Julia Hilton.2 He married Edith Jane Lacon, daughter of Graham Lacon and Harriet Love, in 1886.1 He married Josephine Mary Wickham, daughter of James Wickham, on 17 November 1897 at Chippenham, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He died in 1943.2
     He was Rector at Colton, Norwich, Norfolk, England.1

     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.1
