     He lived in 1891 at New Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1909 at IndiaG in the 21 Punjabis, Indian Army.6 He was a polo player at IndiaG.6 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.6

     Colonel Lawrence Hungerford Jackson was born on 27 September 1889 at Calcutta, IndiaG.2,3,4,5,6 He was the son of Mountstuart Hungerford Jackson and Ethel Beatrice Cowie.1 He married Freda Mary Dalgety, daughter of Colonel Edmund Henry Dalgety and Margaretta Gibson Aden Hill, on 30 July 1919.7 He died on 7 August 1985 at age 95 at Newmarket, Suffolk, EnglandG.4,5
     He lived in 1891 at New Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Army Survey of India.7
