     Rosa McCarthy was the daughter of Justin McCarthy.2 She married George Dent Pakenham, son of Thomas Pakenham and Isabella Mary Wetherall, on 13 June 1850.1 She died on 7 June 1852, without issue.1
     From 13 June 1850, her married name became Pakenham.

     Thomas Robert Pakenham was born on 27 November 1854.1 He was the son of George Dent Pakenham and Elizabeth Hume.2 He died on 5 September 1885 at age 30, unmarried.1
     He was Colonial Secretary for Sierra Leone.1

     Gustavus Conolly Pakenham was born on 27 October 1856.1 He was the son of George Dent Pakenham and Elizabeth Hume.2 He married Ella Compton Bayne, daughter of William George Bayne, on 14 November 1889.1 He died on 1 November 1924 at age 68.1

     Lt.-Col. Compton Thomas Pakenham was born on 11 May 1893.1 He was the son of Gustavus Conolly Pakenham and Ella Compton Bayne.2 He married, firstly, Phyllis Mona Price, daughter of Colonel William Price, in 1915.1 He and Phyllis Mona Price were divorced in 1920.1 He married, secondly, Alma Clark in 1921.1 He married, thirdly, Sara Furman, daughter of Charles Manning Furman, in 1925.1 He died on 17 August 1957 at age 64.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.1

Compton Thomas Pakenham and Phyllis Mona Price.2 She married, firstly, Noel Paterson Durnford Iliff, son of Reverend Kenneth Iliff, in 1938.1 She married, secondly, Kenneth William Bruce Middleton, son of Walter Ross Taylor Middleton, on 28 December 1984.1 She died on 17 November 2010 at age 94.3
