William O'Neill Gray1

     William O'Neill Gray was born on 11 December 1783.1 He was the son of Owen Wynne Gray and Eliza O'Neill.2 He married Barbara Eliza Blake, daughter of Major Thomas Blake, on 27 January 1806.1 He died on 9 May 1841 at age 57.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 30th Regiment.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 89th Regiment.1 He gained the rank of officer in the 6th Regiment.2 He held the office of Stipendiary Magistrate [Trinidad].1

     Barbara Eliza Blake was the daughter of Major Thomas Blake.2 She married William O'Neill Gray, son of Owen Wynne Gray and Eliza O'Neill, on 27 January 1806.1 She died on 21 August 1860.1
     From 27 January 1806, her married name became Gray.

     Major William Robert Grey was born on 28 October 1826.1 He was the son of William O'Neill Gray and Barbara Eliza Blake.2 He married Amy Hare, daughter of Reverend William Hare, on 31 October 1863.1 He died on 19 October 1896 at age 69.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 30th Regiment.1 He was on the staff of the Governor of New Zealand (his cousin Sir George Grey) for 2½
years.1
