     From 14 November 1814, her married name became Gordon.

     Thomas Duff Gordon, 9th of Park was born on 14 March 1790.2 He was the son of Lachlan Duff Gordon, 8th of Park and Rachael Hog.2 He married Joanna Maria Macdowall, daughter of David Macdowall and Eleanor Mary Grant, on 14 November 1814.1 He died on 5 December 1855 at age 65.3
     He fought in the Battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Banffshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Banffshire.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Inverness and Banffshire Militia.2

     Sir William Spring, 2nd Bt. was born in 1642.2 He was the son of Sir William Spring, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth le Strange.1 He married, firstly, Mary North, daughter of Dudley North, 4th Baron North and Anne Montagu.1 He married, secondly, Sarah Cordell, daughter of Sir Robert Cordell, 1st Bt. and Margaret Wright.1 He died circa 1684.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Spring, of Pakenham, Suffolk [E., 1641] circa 1655.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Suffolk between 1679 and 1684.2
