George O'Callaghan was born on 15 June 1788.2 He is the son of John O'Callaghan and Catherine Colpoys.3 He married Mary Westropp, daughter of Robert Westropp and Dorcas Keily, on 31 October 1824.2 He died on 31 January 1849 at age 60.2
He was sued by his putative cousin Brigid.2 He lived at Maryfort, Tulla, County Clare, Ireland, Lismehane.4
