James Westropp1

     James Westropp was the son of Hugh Westropp and Jane Sayer.2 He married Elizabeth Lepton, daughter of Christopher Lepton, in 1569.1 He died in 1580.1
     He served at his own cost in the wars of the Tudors.1 He lived at Cornborough.1 His last will was dated 18 January 1579 at Darncome, Brompton.1

Thomas Westropp1

     Thomas Westropp was the son of Hugh Westropp and Jane Sayer.2 He married Anna (?) in 1591.1 He died in April 1604.1 His will was proven (by probate) in April 1604.1
     .1 He gained the rank of Captain between 1568 and 1598 in the Army.1 He received a pension from Elizabeth I for the loss of his right arm, and for services in the Irish war.1 His last will was dated 9 April 1604.1

Anna (?)1

     Anna (?) married Thomas Westropp, son of Hugh Westropp and Jane Sayer, in 1591.1
     Her married name became Gowerley.1 From 1591, her married name became Westropp.

Ralph Westropp1

     Ralph Westropp was the son of Hugh Westropp and Jane Sayer.2 He died on 25 June 1606, unmarried.1 He was buried at York Minster, York, Yorkshire, England.1
     He was a practising Serjeant-at-Arms on 18 May 1590.1 In July 1596 by his report to the Archbishop of York, he saved Clifford Tower from demolition.1 His last will was dated 7 June 1605.1

Agnes Westropp1

     Agnes Westropp was the daughter of Hugh Westropp and Jane Sayer.2 She died in May 1606 at Marrick, unmarried.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in May 1606.1
     Her last will was dated 16 May 1606.1

     Her married name became Fairfax.1 From 1569, her married name became Westropp.1
