     Reverend Christopher Mansel was born in 1686.1 He was the son of Edward Mansel and Millicent Draper.2 He married Sarah Hoare, daughter of Edward Hoare, in 1717.1 He died on 23 October 1741.1
     He was the Rector at Long Newton, County Durham, EnglandG.1

     Sarah Hoare was the daughter of Edward Hoare.1 She married Reverend Christopher Mansel, son of Edward Mansel and Millicent Draper, in 1717.1 She died on 19 September 1769.1

Maj.-Gen. John Mansel1

     Maj.-Gen. John Mansel was the son of Reverend Christopher Mansel and Sarah Hoare.2 He married Mary Biggin, daughter of John Biggin, on 9 June 1768.1 He died on 25 April 1794 at Coteau, Flanders, FranceG, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Dragoon Guards.1 In 1742 he inherited Cosgrove Hall on the death of his brother.1 He lived at Cosgrove Hall, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Battle of Coteau on 25 April 1794.1

     Major John Christopher Mansel was born on 20 April 1771.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. John Mansel and Mary Biggin.2 He married Maria Antonia Linskill, daughter of William Linskill, in 1795.1 He died on 3 April 1839 at age 67, without issue.1
     He was Aide-de-Camp to his father.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd Dragoon Guards.1 He lived at Cosgrove Hall, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1

Rear-Admiral Robert Mansel1

     Rear-Admiral Robert Mansel was born on 15 March 1773.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. John Mansel and Mary Biggin.2 He married Frances Charlotta Thorold, daughter of William Thorold, on 29 May 1803.1 He died on 5 January 1838 at age 64.1
     He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in the Royal Navy.1
