     Major Anthony Francis Gradidge was the son of Brigadier John Henry Gradidge.2 He married, firstly, Diana Joan Strang Steel, daughter of Sir Fiennes William Strang Steel, 2nd Bt. and Joan Ella Brodie Henderson, on 20 June 1970.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Holdsworth Hunt, daughter of Major Francis Holdsworth Hunt and Elizabeth Rosalind Weld Forester, in 1980.1 He died on 14 January 2019.3
     Major Anthony Francis Gradidge usually went by his middle name of Francis.3 He gained the rank of Major in 1980 in the 17th/21st Lancers.1 He lived in 2003 at Ruthven House, Coldstream, Berwickshire, Scotland.2

Mary Isabella Sophia Louisa Weld Forester was born on 8 March 1873.1 She was the daughter of Cecil Theodore Weld Forester, 5th Baron Forester of Willey Park and Emma Georgina Dixie.3 She married Major James Whitaker, son of John Whitaker and Elizabeth Ann Munn, on 31 October 1905.1 She died on 2 May 1950 at age 77.1
     From 31 October 1905, her married name became Whitaker.

     Major James Whitaker was born on 2 August 1863.2 He was the son of John Whitaker and Elizabeth Ann Munn.2 He married Hon. Mary Isabella Sophia Louisa Weld Forester, daughter of Cecil Theodore Weld Forester, 5th Baron Forester of Willey Park and Emma Georgina Dixie, on 31 October 1905.1 He died on 18 March 1946 at age 82.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 20th Hussars.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Montgomeryshire Imperial Yeomanry.3 He fought in the First World War.3 He gained the rank of Temporary Major in the 13th Regiment of Cavalry.3 He held the office of High Sheriff for Shropshire in 1921.3 He lived at Winsley Hall, Shropshire, EnglandG.1
