Sir James Hay of Park, 5th Bt.1

     Sir James Hay of Park, 5th Bt. was the son of William Hay and Mary Cant.1 He married Margaret Jane Campbell, daughter of Colin Campbell and Margaret Foster, on 27 October 1792 at St. Marylebone, London, England.1,2 He died in August 1794 at Spanish Town, Jamaica.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hay, of Park [N.S., 1663] on 30 April 1794.1

     Lt-Col. Lewis Hay was the son of William Hay and Mary Cant.1 He married Barbara Craigie, daughter of John Craigie of Glendoick, in 1784.1 He died on 27 August 1799 at HelderG, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1 He fought in the Battle of Helder on 27 August 1799.1

Sir John Hay of Park, 7th Bt.1

     Sir John Hay of Park, 7th Bt. was born posthumously on 29 August 1799.1 He was the son of Lt-Col. Lewis Hay and Barbara Craigie.1 He was baptised on 3 September 1799 at Kinfauns, Perthshire, ScotlandG.2 He married Sarah Beresford Cossins, daughter of John Cossins and Hon. Susanna Elizabeth Thicknesse-Touchet, on 29 June 1836 at St. Ninians, Stirling, Stirlingshire, ScotlandG.1,3 He died on 15 June 1862 at age 62.1
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Hay, of Park [N.S., 1663] on 7 October 1801.1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.1 He was a practising Advocate in 1821.1 He held the office of Sheriff-Substitute of Stirling, for 25 years.1
