     Thomas Fairfax was born in 1762.¹ He was the son of Reverend Bryan Fairfax, 8th Lord Fairfax of Cameron and Elizabeth Cary.² He married, firstly, Mary Aylett in November 1795.¹ He married, secondly, Louisa Washington, daughter of Colonel Warner Washington and Hannah Fairfax, in February 1798.¹ He married, thirdly, Margaret Herbert, daughter of William Herbert and Sarah Carlyle, on 31 December 1800.² He died on 21 April 1846.¹
     He succeeded as the 9th Lord Fairfax of Cameron [S., 1627] on 7 August 1802, de jure.¹ He lived at Vaucluse, Fairfax County, Virginia, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Jason Hawkins was born on 16 October 1751.² He was the son of Sir Cæsar Hawkins, 1st Bt. and Sarah Coxe.¹ He was baptised on 14 November 1751 at St. James, Westminster, London, England.² He died, unmarried.¹

     Herbert Wilde married Elizabeth Hawkins, daughter of Cæsar Hawkins and Ann Bright, before 1759.² He died before 1759.²
     He lived at Ludlow, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He was also known as Herbert Wylde.²

     Sarah Coxe was the daughter of John Coxe.² She married Sir Cæsar Hawkins, 1st Bt., son of Cæsar Hawkins and Ann Bright.¹ She died on 17 March 1801.¹
