     Guy Campbell Gunning was born on 11 September 1868 at Thyet Myo, West Bengal, India^G.^1,2 He was the son of Colonel John Campbell Gunning and Mary Anne Boyson.³ He was baptised on 12 October 1868 at Thyet Myo, West Bengal, India^G.² He died on 1 November 1904 at age 36, unmarried.¹

     Henry Ross Gunning was born on 30 April 1879.¹ He was the son of Colonel John Campbell Gunning and Mary Anne Boyson.² He married, firstly, Charlotte Henrietta Bacon, daughter of Anthony Harley Bacon, in 1905.¹ He married, secondly, Violet Gwendoline Cubitt, daughter of William Robert Cubitt, on 27 August 1914.¹ He died on 18 February 1951 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England^G.¹ He fought in the Boer War in 1899, where he was wounded.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Devonshire Regiment.¹

     Sophia Juliet Whitbread was born in 1982.² She is the daughter of Hugh William Whitbread and Katherine Elizabeth Hall.^1,2 She married Robert Alexander Hay, son of Alexander Douglas Hay and Aline Mary Macdougall, on 22 June 2013.^1,2

     Charlotte Henrietta Bacon was the daughter of Anthony Harley Bacon.² She married Henry Ross Gunning, son of Colonel John Campbell Gunning and Mary Anne Boyson, in 1905.¹ She died on 16 July 1908.¹
