     Lt.-Col. Ardern Arthur Hulme Beaman was the son of Sir Clement Frank Offley Beaman.2 He married Diana Vernon Constance Guise, daughter of Sir William Francis George Guise, 5th Bt. and Ada Caroline Coope, on 14 October 1920.1 He died on 26 August 1950.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Gloucestershire Hussars Yeomanry.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1
