     Commander William Spencer Paget Graves was born on 21 February 1849.1 He was the son of Hon. Henry Richard Graves and Henrietta Wellesley.2 He married Beatrice Mary Leake, daughter of Robert Leake, on 10 August 1882.1 He died on 6 September 1909 at age 60, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1
