     Hon. John Lancelot Bailey was born on 2 December 1878.¹ He was the son of Joseph Russell Bailey, 1st Baron Glanusk of Glanusk Park and Mary Ann Lucas.² He married Vivien Dora Carey, daughter of Ferdinand Gaussen Carey, on 6 August 1903.¹ He died on 26 October 1918 at age 39.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the South Wales Borderers.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Vivien Dora Carey was the daughter of Ferdinand Gaussen Carey.² She married Hon. John Lancelot Bailey, son of Joseph Russell Bailey, 1st Baron Glanusk of Glanusk Park and Mary Ann Lucas, on 6 August 1903.¹ She died on 25 February 1938.¹
     From 6 August 1903, her married name became Bailey.

     Joseph Ferdinand Carey Bailey was born on 16 April 1907.¹ He was the son of Hon. John Lancelot Bailey and Vivien Dora Carey.² He married, firstly, Alice Cecilia Anne Magniac, daughter of Oswald Magniac, on 12 October 1935.¹ He and Alice Cecilia Anne Magniac were divorced in 1948.¹ He married, secondly, Evelyn Marie Blauveldt, daughter of Robert Phillips Brooks Blauveldt, on 10 July 1948.¹ He died in 1984.¹

     Oswald Magniac held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹

     Alice Cecilia Anne Magniac is the daughter of Oswald Magniac.² She married Joseph Ferdinand Carey Bailey, son of Hon. John Lancelot Bailey and Vivien Dora Carey, on 12 October 1935.¹ She and Joseph Ferdinand Carey Bailey were divorced in 1948.¹
     From 12 October 1935, her married name became Bailey.
