     He held the office of High Sheriff of Derbyshire in 1835.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Derbyshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Derbyshire.1 He lived at Burnaston House, Egginton, Derbyshire, England.1
