Thomas Raikes1

     Thomas Raikes was born on 28 March 1741.2 He married Charlotte Finch, daughter of Hon. Henry Finch, on 8 December 1774 at St. George's, Boomsbury, London, England.2 He died on 29 December 1813 at age 72.2
     He was a Russia merchant, banker and newspaper proprietor.2 He held the office of Governor of the Bank of England in 1797.1

Harriet Raikes1

     Harriet Raikes was the daughter of Thomas Raikes and Charlotte Finch.2 She married Stratford Canning, 1st Viscount Stratford de Redcliffe, son of Stratford Canning and Mehitabel Patrick, on 3 August 1816.1 She died on 17 February 1817, without issue.1
     From 3 August 1816, her married name became Canning.

Elizabeth Canning1

     Elizabeth Canning was born on 4 February 1777.2 She was the daughter of Stratford Canning and Mehitabel Patrick.3 She married George Henry Barnett in 1805.1 She died on 17 December 1838 at age 61 at Putney, London, EnglandG.1,2
     From 1805, her married name became Barnett.
