     Captain Henry Mitford was born on 12 September 1769.¹ He was the son of William Mitford and Frances Molloy.^1,2 He married, firstly, Louisa Wyke, daughter of Anthony Wyke, in 1796.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Anstruther, daughter of David Anstruther, in 1803.¹ He died on 24 December 1803 at age 34, lost at sea in H.M.S. York.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     William Mitford was born on 10 February 1744.¹ He was the son of John Mitford and Philadelphia Reveley.^1,2 He married Frances Molloy, daughter of James Molloy, on 18 May 1766.¹ He died on 8 February 1827 at age 82.¹
