     Edmund Rolfe was born in 1738 at Heacham, Norfolk, England.2 He married Dorothy Folkes, daughter of William Folkes and Ursula Taylor.1 He died in 1817.2
     In 1760 he went on a Grand Tour of Italy and Switzerland.2 He lived at Heacham, Norfolk, EnglandG.1

     Sir Martin Browne ffolkes, 1st Bt. was born in May 1740.1 He was the son of William Folkes and Mary Browne.2 He married Fanny Turner, daughter of Sir John Turner, 3rd Bt. and Frances Neale, on 28 December 1777.1 He died on 11 December 1821 at age 81.1
     He was created 1st Baronet ffolkes, of Hillington, Norfolk [Great Britain] on 26 May 1774.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)1
