     Louisa Godby was the daughter of General C. Godby.2 She married Hew Dalrymple Hamilton Fergusson, son of Sir James Fergusson of Kilkerran, 4th Bt. and Hon. Henrietta Duncan, on 11 September 1838.1 She died on 10 May 1904.1
     From 11 September 1838, her married name became Fergusson.

James Fergusson1

     James Fergusson was born on 18 September 1840.1 He was the son of Hew Dalrymple Hamilton Fergusson and Louisa Godby.2 He married Annie Gillespie Mitchel, daughter of William Gillespie Mitchel, on 9 November 1887.1 He died on 19 July 1917 at age 76, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Officer in the 73rd Regiment.1
