     General Sir Anthony Farrington, 1st Bt. was born on 6 February 1741/42.1 He was the son of Colonel Charles Farrington.1 He married Elizabeth Colden, daughter of Alexander Colden, on 9 March 1766.1 He died on 3 November 1823 at age 81.1
     He was Commanding Officer of the 1st Battalion, Royal Artillery and Field Train.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.) by Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was created 1st Baronet Farrington [U.K.] on 2 December 1818.1

     Elizabeth Colden was the daughter of Alexander Colden.2 She married General Sir Anthony Farrington, 1st Bt., son of Colonel Charles Farrington, on 9 March 1766.1 She died on 12 April 1824.1
     From 9 March 1766, her married name became Farrington.

Charles Colden Farrington1

     Charles Colden Farrington was born on 1 June 1770.1 He was the son of General Sir Anthony Farrington, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Colden.2 He married Caroline Boland, daughter of Philip Boland, on 23 December 1793.1 He died on 2 March 1796 at age 25.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 33rd Foot.1

Sir Charles Henry Farrington, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Charles Henry Farrington, 2nd Bt. was born on 26 September 1794.1 He was the son of Charles Colden Farrington and Caroline Boland.2 He died on 26 March 1828 at age 33 at IndiaG, unmarried.1
     He fought in the Battle of Talavera.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 31st Regiment.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Farrington [U.K., 1818] on 3 November 1823.1
