Sir Anthony Adney Evans, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 August 1922.1 He was the son of Sir Walter Harry Evans, 1st Bt. and Margaret Mary Dickens.2 He married, firstly, Rita Beatrice Kettle, daughter of Alfred David Kettle, on 1 May 1948.1 He and Rita Beatrice Kettle were divorced in 1957.1 He married, secondly, Sylvia Jean Dorothy Machin, daughter of Bernard Edgar Machin, in 1958.1 He died on 30 August 2017 at age 95 at France.3
He lived at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Evans, of Wightwick Hall, Wolverhampton, co. Stafford [U.K., 1920] on 7 November 1954.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1992.1 He lived in 2003 at Almer Manor, Blandford, Dorset, EnglandG.1 On his death his baronetcy became extinct.
