     Rear-Admiral James Young gained the rank of Rear-Admiral of the Blue.¹

     Charlotte Young is the daughter of Rear-Admiral James Young.² She married James Frederick Elton, son of Jacob Elton and Charlotte Young, on 9 July 1835.¹
     From 9 July 1835, her married name became Elton.

     Colonel Frederick Coulthurst Elton was born on 15 July 1837.¹ He was the son of James Frederick Elton and Charlotte Young.² He married Olivia Georgiana Power, daughter of Major John Power and Emilie Magdalen Louisa Sinclair, on 9 May 1866.¹ He died on 25 December 1919 at age 82.¹
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Major John Power is the son of Patrick Power.² He married Emilie Magdalen Louisa Sinclair, daughter of Sir George Sinclair of Ulbster, 2nd Bt. and Catherine Camilla Manners, on 5 July 1841.^1,3
     He gained the rank of Major in the 29th Foot.¹

     Olivia Georgiana Power was the daughter of Major John Power and Emilie Magdalen Louisa Sinclair.^2,1 She married Colonel Frederick Coulthurst Elton, son of James Frederick Elton and Charlotte Young, on 9 May 1866.¹ She died on 29 May 1929.¹
     From 9 May 1866, her married name became Elton.

     Brig.-Gen. Frederick Algernon George Young Elton was born on 5 April 1867.¹ He was the son of Colonel Frederick Coulthurst Elton and Olivia Georgiana Power.² He married Katherine Elizabeth Andrews, daughter of Reverend Nesfield Andrews, on 14 October 1902.¹ He died on 3 August 1921 at age 54.¹
     He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Royal Artillery.¹ He lived at Preston Lodge, Horsham, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Reverend Nesfield Andrews was the Vicar at Southwater, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Katherine Elizabeth Andrews was the daughter of Reverend Nesfield Andrews.² She married Brig.-Gen. Frederick Algernon George Young Elton, son of Colonel Frederick Coulthurst Elton and Olivia Georgiana Power, on 14 October 1902.¹ She died on 23 December 1956.¹
     From 14 October 1902, her married name became Elton.

     Mary Katherine Gloria Elton was born on 10 May 1904.¹ She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Frederick Algernon George Young Elton and Katherine Elizabeth Andrews.² She married Major Stanley George Reeves Elton Barratt, son of Sir Albert Barratt, on 4 September 1926.¹ She died on 1 April 1996 at age 91.¹
     Mary Katherine Gloria Elton usually went by her middle name of Gloria.¹ From 4 September 1926, her married name became Barratt. She was appointed Fellow, Royal Philatelic Society.¹

     Sir Albert Barratt lived at Totteridge Park, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹
