     Alexander Macalister of Torrisdale married Mary Keith Elphinstone-Fleeming, daughter of Admiral Hon. Charles Elphinstone-Fleeming and Doña Catalina Paulina Alesandro de Jiminez, on 20 April 1843.1 He and Mary Keith Elphinstone-Fleeming were divorced in 1847.1

     Hon. Anne Elizabeth Elphinstone-Fleeming was the daughter of Admiral Hon. Charles Elphinstone-Fleeming and Doña Catalina Paulina Alesandro de Jiminez.2 She married William Cunninghame Graham Bontine, son of Robert Cunningham Cunninghame Graham, 8th of Gartmore and Frances Laura Spiers, on 12 June 1851 at Parish Church, Harbledown, Kent, England.3 She died on 27 March 1925.1
     From 12 June 1851, her married name became Cunninghame Bontine.1 On 12 October 1860 she was granted by Royal Licence the rank of a Lord of Parliament's daughter.1

     Charles Fullerton-Elphinstone was born in 1784.1 He was the son of Hon. William Fullerton-Elphinstone and Elizabeth Fullerton.2 He died circa February 1807, lost at sea on board H.M.S. Blenheim (which disappeared after a gale along with the frigate H.M.S. Java).1,3
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1
