     Alice Caroline Astell was the daughter of John Harvey Astell.2 She married Cecil Henry Towry-Law, 6th Baron Ellenborough, son of Hon. Henry Spencer Law and Dorothea Anne Rochfort, on 22 July 1884.1 She died on 3 November 1916.1
     From 22 July 1884, her married name became Towry-Law. After her marriage, Alice Caroline Astell was styled as Baroness Ellenborough on 9 December 1915.
