     Joseph Priestley Edwards was born on 29 December 1818.1 He was the son of Henry Lees Edwards and Lea Priestley.2 He married Margaret Norris, daughter of James Edward Norris, on 16 January 1844.1 He died on 20 August 1868 at age 49.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the West Yorkshire Yeomanry Cavalry.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Yorkshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Yorkshire.1 He lived at Fixby Park, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He lived at Castle Carr, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1

     Margaret Norris was the daughter of James Edward Norris.2 She married Joseph Priestley Edwards, son of Henry Lees Edwards and Lea Priestley, on 16 January 1844.1 She died on 17 June 1902.1
     From 16 January 1844, her married name became Edwards.

     Maria Churchill Coster was the daughter of Thomas Coster.2 She married Sir Henry Edwards, 1st Bt., son of Henry Lees Edwards and Lea Priestley, on 19 April 1838.1 She died on 5 March 1906.1

Sir Henry Coster Lea Edwards, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Henry Coster Lea Edwards, 2nd Bt. was born on 3 June 1840.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Edwards, 1st Bt. and Maria Churchill Coster.2 He married, firstly, Agnes Harcourt Clark, daughter of Edward Rawson Clark, on 22 June 1872.1 He and Agnes Harcourt Clark were divorced in 1886.1 He married, secondly, Laura Selina Clark, daughter of John Capes Clark, on 29 September 1887.1 He died on 5 December 1896 at age 56.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd West Yorkshire Yeomanry Cavalry.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Edwards, of Pye Nest, co. York [U.K., 1866] on 23 April 1886.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     Arthur Hancock Edwards was born on 4 July 1847.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Edwards, 1st Bt. and Maria Churchill Coster.2 He married Eleanor Louisa Pease, daughter of Lt.-Col. Joseph Walker Pease and Barbara Catherine Palmer, on 22 January 1874.1 He died on 19 December 1924 at age 77.1
