     Gertrude Priscilla Despard was the daughter of Captain George Despard.² She married Matthew Henry Franks, son of Thomas Franks and Mary Anne Cuthbert Kearney, on 9 January 1869.¹ She died on 25 August 1911.¹

     May Geraldine Morton was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Gerald de Courcy Morton.² She married Lt.-Col. George Despard Franks, son of Matthew Henry Franks and Gertrude Priscilla Despard, on 6 June 1908.¹ She died on 7 December 1937.¹
