Maj.-Gen. William Turton Fagan was born on 5 July 1831.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Christopher Sullivan Fagan and Elizabeth Jane Moule.2 He married Emily Rowe Livermore, daughter of James Stafford Livermore, on 3 March 1862.1 He died on 25 April 1890 at age 58.1
