     Robert William Dolmage was born on 13 March 1816 at Court Lodge, Adare, County Limerick, Ireland.² He was the son of Tobias Dolmage and Arabella Collis.³ He married Maria Juliana Adamson, daughter of Reverend Arthur Smyth Adamson and Emily Jane Barry, on 13 March 1846 at Court Lodge, Adare, County Limerick, Ireland.¹ He died on 15 May 1865 at age 49, at sea off Canada.²

     Reverend Arthur Smyth Adamson was born in 1793 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.² He was the son of Reverend Christopher Adamson and Jane Smyth.² He married Emily Jane Barry in 1818 at Leighsbrook, County Meath, Ireland.² He died on 23 April 1843 at Glebe House, Phibsborough, County Dublin, Ireland.²

     From 13 March 1846, her married name became Dolmage.
